Something For Everyone

Every special person who touches our life
Leaves their own unique mark on our heart.
A mark which can never be chissled away,
Even if the years eventually pull us apart.
We can take on their expressions as such,
The more we share of ourselves together.
It's those little things about another person
Which can remain a part in us forever.
People who we have met throughout our life
Become a part of the person we are today.
We learn and we grow from the relationships;
Each one touching us, in its own special way,
We laugh about spending too much time together,
When we think we have become like each other.
But it just shows how much we've been touched
By the relationship we have found with another.
Those special people who can touch our lives
Are like precious jewels amongst life's treasures;
They shine on us and leave a lasting impression;
An unique mark on our heart;
A gift without measure.

Well my week has been different, I dropped KH off at his mums on the Gold Coast and then spent what was left of the w/end with my daughter and family. Monday was the usual mundane house hold chores, Tuesday was wood delivery day and do some work in the old barn.Wednesday was cook a nice lunch and try to get my thoughts together,(It must be in the air) and have a cuppa with my neighbour.Thursday was ironing and electrician here to sort out phone points. During all this I am trying to make sense of the direction my life is heading and where i really want to be at this age and time, will let you all know when i know (if I find the answers)
Dad is going well and is putting on a brave front, I love this man who has been a real influence in my life and my families lives.
KH was such a dear man to help me thru the past weeks, he will never really know how much he helped me. A true friend.
Tomorrow is Friday and I am going to Brisbane with my neighbours friend to see my neighbour Bob, who is recovering from lung surgery, he is doing it tough so hopefully we can brighten his day.
Then comes Saturday and Sunday, we will just have to wait and see.
