A trip For Friday
Firstly some sad news Mr Frog has passed on, I knew he was old but he had a lovely last couple of days,He rests beneath a small gardenia plant.
We were all up early this am, as I had promised mum we would take her to visit the Jondaryan woolshed, situated nth west of Warwick about 2hours travelling time.
It is very well presented and we spent 3hours exploring watching and enjoying all that was on offer.
I have taken photos of some of the exhibits ,but their were alot more
. It was the Australian Heritage Festival and they had one of the best and most extensive exhibits of working steam run engines ,my dad had ever seen. He and all the boys (big and little) were having the time of their lives.
The picture to my left is a homestead, typical of early queensland times.
No2 pic is such a quaint cottage garden .
This is the kitchen inside the above cottage and the lady dressed in period clothes had just made a batch of scones,in the old stove.
