Time To Reflect

After a few rather hectic days , of achieving quite alot in and around this old house, yesterday the sad news of Steve Irwins death, made me stop and question what I was doing.
It dawned on me that I was so busy either looking after someone, or always doing something I was breaking my own rule, of taking time out to enjoy life.
Today would have been (or Is) my 36th wedding anniversary and I still find I want or need to feel his hand in mine or his touch as he passes by or just his smile that was just for me from his heart. I guess that is why I dont stop it still hurts to reflect on what was and is no more.
(enough I say)
My pain was put away as visitors arrived, on their way back from Darwin, thats the capital of the Northern Territory, they had been visiting their son and family and are on there way home to Mildura in Victoria. Such a lovely down to earth couple,I met them on my way around Australia 3yrs ago.
I will be busy showing them some of the sights around Warrick, for the next few days.
I am happy Spring is here,I will take pics soon of the work Dad and I have been doing in the barn and around the house, just to update you all.
I hope you and yours are well and happy.
Bye till next post.
