Friday another week passed

Hello Dear friends, My week has come and gone, I have been busy helping dad concrete the front drive entrance and finish off the back garden. Life isn't mundane or boring, every day is a challenge, an adventure, I find the time that I once took for granted is now so precious.
We have completed all the tests preparing dad for his surgery, he himself has prepared himself as well as he can, and I have deliberately been giving them the space they require as husband and wife. My love for them both cannot prevent the fear and worry they are both experiencing, but when I give them a hug or a kiss, they feel the invisible cloak of love I have knitted in my heart and slowly wrap them in. As with all people facing their own mortality, my father has been very testy and I believe this is their way of protecting us. They think if they are narky we will somehow not hurt as much, (pushing away love ones) but I assured dad the more he pushed the closer I will become. Guess what things are back to normal, we have achieved alot this last week and have alot more projects in the pipeline (positive thoughts). Our days are still very warm and the autumn does not want to arrive, we are still getting temperatures 28-30 degrees. But I am not complaining as it enables me to have a little more time to prepare the garden. I have a quiet w/end planned before the next week arrives. Thankyou all for your prayers and thoughts for my dad and our family, for those of you who are facing your own trials in life my love and prayers go to you. I have added some pics of our achievements this week.
