Its Not A Nice Day
Well, Tuesday snuck up on me. I am not sure what happened to Monday, but I did not want to get up today. The clouds were grey and looked promising for rain, or snow (just joking about the snow). The temp tried real hard and succeeded to reach the double figures, but the chill factor was present. I did the floors and the bathrooms, then decided to read a book beside the fire, which is burning around the clock at the moment. After snuggling into my favourite chair with a lovely hot tea, you guessed it the doorbell rang. Visitors, a friend from town and her partner, popped in with my two bags of mulch they had kindly picked up for me. On with the kettle and after a nice long chat and a cuppa or two they were off. By this time I had three little pooches lookin for tea, so the book was placed away for another day. My next door neighbour whose partner is in hospital in Brissy, is in for dinner tonite, so have to get organised.
I have taken some pics of the two outfits we bought for the mother of the bride, and if blogger allows will post now, why dont you help her choose. Also a shot of our heater and my chair, and some pics of some of the oil paintings, mainly Australian scenes we have decorating our walls. Have a good week.
This is the wedding cake that Di & myself picked out. Nic's is going to do it in dark chocolate mud cake with gold crowns and white crystals (she think's). I will post photo's of it's construction.
