Father, Husband and Grandfather.
.
Rest in Peace my Love.
.
.
I have an angel on my shoulder,
He whispers in my ear.
His voice is soft and gentle,
And no one else can hear.
When I'm tired and lonely,
It's comfort that he brings.
When I'm filled with happiness,
I can hear his laughter ring.
My angel's very close to me,
I call him by his name.
And though I cannot see him,
I love him just the same.
He now has no more suffering,
And gone is all his pain.
I believe with all my heart,
We'll someday meet again.
An angel's job is taxing,
It's as hard as it can be.
I hope he does'nt get too tired,
Looking after me.
Yes, my angel's with me,
From morning til the night.
I know as long as he is here,
Everything will be alright.
So when my days are over,
I'll not pass in fear.
I know my angel's waiting,
to lead me home up there.

Time To Catch Up
The Motor Home Fits Well In Our Yard
I bet you all have given up on me, well I'am still here.
As you have all read the wedding and its preparation all went well, It took a little time for me to recover from this and also the trips twice a week to Brissy.
A good sleep in for a few days and only attending to basic chores has recharged the old batteries.
I had a recall back to the doctors for more blood tests and it would seem they know there is something not right with my autoimmune system we just have to find out what it is.
In the mean time my life goes forward, I have had a friends son here for two days, helping chop the wood and tidy the place up generally, he is a goood kid and no trouble to have around.
Then today my late husbands brother and wife arrived for a visit, they have travelled up from NSW in their motorhome, quite an achievement for my sister-in-law, as she is not good at travelling long distances.I am not sure how long they are staying ,but hopefully for awhile.
I am going to have quite a housefull for the w/end as I go to Brissy tomorrow to pick up dad and mum and Nics and family plus one extra are all up for the w/end. Nothing like a home full of family to warm the heart.
Dad is half way thru his treatment, he is still coping very well and has it all under control.
I am truly blessed to have all these beautiful people here to share a w/end.
My next door neighbours husband is slowly improving
, so I guess the sun is shining in Warwick Qld.

Tuesday Tuesday Tuesday
What a week it has been. The wedding went off without a hiccup. I am just so relieved for my mate Di that everything went so smoothly. Nics and I worked hard to make sure the cake and veil were just so! Nics and the grankids arrived after lunch on wednesday and we got stuck into the cake after dinner and finished it up about midnight. I think we did a pretty good job of it. I was on my way to bed when I found our newest house guest had made himself comfortable in my bed..... after a few stern words, he settled down with some new friends he made at the end of my bed.
.
.
.
.
Here's some proof of the pudding! This is me arguing with the glue. I am trying to glue crystal beads onto the outer edge of the cake boards.
.
.
This is Di and me all dressed up for the wedding. She wore the purple outfit to the church and the black and teal outfit to the reception.
.
.
Rachel, Di's daughter, looked beautiful... as did the bridesmaids.
.
.
I am so tired now that I could sleep for weeks... so I am back to bed for some much needed R & R. Before I go though... I would like to say a huge thankyou to one of my sweetest friends, Kali, for the most generous gift I found on my doorstep this morning. Thank you sweetheart, you have brightened up my day considerably.... talk soon, Gail xox.... yawn!
